The original foundation of the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo was formed by a small group of people with a dream. Today more than 2,000 volunteers contribute their time and talents as members of 33 committees. These dedicated and hard-working individuals keep the Show's vision alive and visible to the people of Austin and in the Central Texas Region.

These volunteers are not just active during the two-week run of the Show. The extensive planning, organization and preparation for the Show is a year-round endeavor. They are the people who go the extra mile, giving their time, talents and energies to further benefit the young people of Texas.
